The Heliomar Apartments are situated just 800 metres from the beach and 150 metres from the centre of Puerto Rico, on the south western coast of Gran Canaria, about 40 Km from the Las Palmas Airport. Accommodation at the two storey Heliomar Apartments consists 32 two bedroom and 56 one bedroom apartments, each having a private bathroom and shower, a kitchenette, a lounge with a sofa bed and a balcony or terrace. All Heliomar Apartments are equipped with pay to view television and a rental safety deposit box. The apartments are cleaned five times per week, the towels changed twice and bed linen changed once per week. Facilities at the Heliomar Apartments include a restaurant, a pool side snack bar, two swimming pools (one heated in winter), a children's play area, a laundry, a tennis court, a squash court and a minimarket. Some entertainment is provided by the Heliomar Apartments in the summer. There are several shops, bars and restaurants near to the Heliomar Apartments.
